About Michelle Ulrich, APRN, ACNS-BC

Michelle Ulrich is a board-certified Clinical Nurse Specialist. She grew-up in Southern California where she received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin and in 2009 Michelle was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Michelle moved to El Paso, Texas in 2004 where she began working as an exercise physiologist in cardiac rehab. Upon moving to Austin in 2005, she became a Certified Exercise Physiologist. She has over 17 years’ experience caring for patients with chronic metabolic conditions including cardiovascular, diabetes, and obesity. Through a patient centered approach; incorporating exercise, education, and lifestyle changes; Michelle is dedicated to bringing her patients long lasting health improvements.

Michelle spends her free time with her children traveling both local and abroad, mostly for their extracurricular activities. Her oldest child is an aspiring musician, relocating to Los Angeles, California in August of 2022. Her youngest has been in ballet for 7 years attending the Joffrey Ballet in Chicago during the summers now. Michelle has also donated time to InterVol’s Volunteer Medical Professional program assisting on the Island of Guanaja, Honduras and is looking forward to more opportunities to assist those most in need.
