About Emily Groszewski, FNP-C, MSN

Emily Groszewski is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from Duke University, in Biology and Nursing. Emily later completed her Master of Science in Nursing at The University of Texas at Austin.

Emily had over 6 years of cardiovascular nursing experience before becoming a Nurse Practitioner. Originally from the Northeast, Emily cared for cardiac patients at Yale-New Haven Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital before relocating to Austin.

Prior to joining Austin Heart, Emily worked in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at the Heart Hospital of Austin, where as a member of the Mechanical Circulatory Support team she specialized in advanced interventions including Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) and Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO).

Emily is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Outside of nursing, Emily enjoys exploring the outdoors, camping, and listening to live music.
