Dr. Mary Lee was born and raised in Central Texas until her high school years. She is a board-certified internist and board-eligible cardiologist. She joins Austin Heart as a General Cardiologist with advanced certification in echocardiography and vascular studies. 

She earned her undergraduate degree from Baylor University with a major in Neuroscience and earned her master's degree in Cell and Molecular Biology at University of Texas at Dallas. She then went on to medical school and Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine which also provided her the opportunity to participate in international medical mission trips. 

She attended Texas A&M-Baylor Scott and White in Temple, Texas for her internal medicine training and continued there for her cardiovascular fellowship training.

Dr. Lee has participated in scholarly activity throughout her training, presenting at the American College Cardiology and producing several publications. Her special interests include preventative cardiology, women’s cardiovascular health, and cardiac imaging.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, running and spending time with her soon-to-be husband, dog, and family.
