Dr. Kevin Kurian was born and raised in North Texas, just outside of Dallas, TX. He is a board-eligible cardiologist, and board-certified internist. He joins Austin Heart as of August 2022 as a General Cardiologist with advanced certification in Echocardiography. He graduated cum laude from Austin College in 2012, where he double majored in Biochemistry and Psychology. He then went on to medical school at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine.

He graduated in 2016, and he subsequently started his internal medicine residency at Texas A&M – Baylor Scott & White in Temple, TX. Upon graduating from internal medicine in 2019, he continued with Texas A&M – Baylor Scott & White in Temple, TX for his cardiology fellowship, including caring for veterans at the Central Texas VA.

Dr. Kurian participated in scholarly activity throughout his training, including presenting at the American College of Cardiology with his research published in the Journal of American College of Cardiology. His professional interests include preventative cardiology and cardiac imaging.

Having spent the last 10 years in central Texas, he and his wife are now excited to be Austinites.
