About

Christopher McCoy, MD, is originally from Cleveland, Ohio.  He earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.  He then went on to complete his internal medicine, cardiology, and interventional cardiology training at Case Western. Prior to joining Austin Heart, Dr. McCoy  worked at major teaching hospitals affiliated with both Case Western Reserve University and Texas A&M University, where he was involved in the education of medical students, residents, and cardiology fellows.  He specializes in interventional cardiology, general cardiology, and preventive cardiology. He is board certified in cardiology and interventional cardiology.  In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, golfing, and spending time with his wife and two sons.
