About Kim Slayton, APRN, ACNS-BC

Kim Slayton is originally from San Antonio, but she moved often with her family because her father was in the military. She graduated from high school in Germany, received a B.A. in Mass Communications with a specialty in Public Relations and minor in Spanish from the University of South Florida. After 3 years in Washington, D.C., she finally returned to Texas, and received a Masters of Science in Nursing at The University of Texas at Austin. She is board certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Health. Previously, she worked at Live Oak Cardiology as an Advanced Practice RN for 9 years.

She enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, hiking and spending time with friends and family.
