Dr. Faraz Kureshi, MD, MSc, earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, FL. He completed three years of internal medicine residency training through the Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education in Jacksonville, FL. The next five years were spent completing an NIH T32 Cardiovascular Outcomes Research Fellowship and a Clinical Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship at Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute/UMKC School of Medicine in Kansas City, MO during which he obtained a Masters degree in Bioinformatics and served as the chief cardiovascular diseases fellow. He then went on to complete an advanced cardiovascular imaging fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.
Dr. Kureshi is COCATS level 3 trained in cardiac MRI, cardiac CT, echocardiography, and cardiovascular research and COCATS level 2 trained in nuclear cardiology.

In his spare time, Dr. Kureshi enjoys spending time with his wife and young son.
