Book an Appointment with Michelle Zikusoka, MD, FACC
Dr. Zikusoka earned her medical degree from Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut as well as a Master of Health Science degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She underwent her internal medicine residency and cardiovascular fellowship training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
Through the years, Dr. Zikusoka's research findings have been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals. Prior to relocating to Austin, she was a board member of the American Heart Association of Greater Baltimore.
Dr. Zikusoka holds board certification in internal medicine and cardiovascular medicine. Her special interests include women's cardiovascular health, cardiovascular risk factor assessment and management, echocardiography, and valvular heart disease.
In her free time, Dr. Zikusoka enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons while exploring Austin and the great outdoors.
