Dr. Janice Huang is a board-certified internist and general cardiologist subspecializing in advanced heart failure and transplant. She has expertise in treating patients with advanced heart failure and a particular interest in cardiac transplant care, temporary and durable mechanical circulatory support, and pulmonary hypertension.

After completing her undergraduate studies in chemical engineering, Dr. Huang received her medical degree from the University of Colorado. She completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Colorado, where she received the Kazarian Outstanding Intern Award and was additionally selected as chief resident in internal medicine. She continued her training under a National Institute of Health training research grant for general cardiology fellowship at the University of Colorado before entering private practice. Dr. Huang worked as a general cardiologist at the Memorial Hospital System in Colorado Springs for the UCHealth Medical Group, where she was the medical director for heart failure and left ventricular assist device (LVAD). She returned to complete additional training in advanced heart failure and transplant at the University of Colorado.

Dr. Huang is also certified in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs and enjoying the outdoors.
